The first task in undertaking this project was to site the building. Once that was done, a road needed to be cut through the site to the building location 1000′ from the county road.
We utilized the old National Park trail trick of regularly winding the road in and about site features so the user never sees more than 50 feet of road ahead – preserving a pristine impression of the site.
We also needed to add an 1800′ fence line on the west edge of the property and we chose to replace the existing east fence line as it was 25′ inside the property line (reclaiming several acres of land).
